Moving mental health care out of the office

 

Of the one in five Americans with mental health conditions, only half receive care for those conditions. A new paper from Vikki Wachino explores proposals to support mental health care outside of traditional health care settings. These policies aim to expand access, reduce unmet need for mental health services, and address maldistribution of mental health providers.
