On January 8, Chairman Rostin Behnam will reflect in prepared remarks on actions the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has taken during his tenure, including four years as Chairman and over seven as a member of the CFTC. Chairman Behnam will also discuss his thoughts on the future of commodity derivatives regulation, and the regulatory future for emerging assets like cryptocurrencies. Following his prepared remarks, Behnam will join a fireside chat with Brookings Senior Fellow Aaron Klein.
