Brookings’s UPDATED COVID Policy
After thorough assessment of our current community environment and thoughtful consideration, Brookings has decided to lift its vaccination requirement for invited guests, effective March 27, 2023. Although guests no longer need to present proof of vaccination upon entry to the Brookings campus, they should not enter the building if they are feeling ill for any reason, have any COVID-like symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks, or have been advised by their healthcare professional or otherwise to not enter any space where unvaccinated individuals may be present. Guests are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated for their own well-being, and are free to wear a mask and are encouraged to do so as they deem appropriate. (Masks will be provided upon request.)
The Brookings Papers on Economic Activity (BPEA) is a semi-annual academic conference and journal that pairs rigorous research with real-time policy analysis to address the most urgent economic challenges of the day. The Spring 2023 BPEA conference will be held March 30-31, 2023 by Brookings's Economic Studies program. The conference proceedings are open to anyone who wishes to observe the vanguard of economic thought around global economic issues.
