On September 3, Commissioner Kristin N. Johnson of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission will reflect on her tenure at the CFTC and speak on the future of financial regulation and how to effectively incorporate digital assets and cryptocurrency into America's financial regulatory structure.

One of the world’s leading experts on financial regulation, Commissioner Johnson will consider the international consequences of America's regulatory decisions. Drawing on her experience as a former professor and industry leader, Commissioner Johnson will also discuss the roles, responsibilities, and tensions among academia, industry, and policy.
