Roger Alford on the future of antitrust policy

On November 5, Brookings will host Roger Alford, former principal deputy assistant attorney general with the antitrust division, for a discussion on the future of antitrust for financial services and the broader American economy. Alford will reflect on his time at the Department of Justice and offer thoughts on how antitrust policy will be reshaped in this administration and the consequences of policy and enforcement choices for the economy.

Alford is a leading scholar and policymaker, having served in both Trump administrations and is currently a professor of law at the University of Notre Dame Law School. This event is a part of the Center on Regulation and Markets Series on Financial Markets and Regulation and is the seventh in the ongoing Future of Financial Regulation series.
