On Monday, November 24, join the Brookings Institution for a timely conversation on the evolving supply-side forces shaping inflation. From climate disruptions to trade policy to structural changes in production, this event will explore how supply shocks may influence inflation dynamics in the years ahead.

Wendy Edelberg, senior fellow in the Economic Studies program at Brookings, will first present highlights from her recent paper which creates a taxonomy of supply shocks and their effects on inflation. She will then moderate a panel featuring Seth Carpenter, global chief economist at Morgan Stanley, Julia Coronado, president and founder of MacroPolicy Perspectives, and Catherine Wolfram, William Barton Rogers professor in energy at MIT.
