In the last few years there has been an accelerated effort from policymakers, community advocates, and corporations to advance equity in the United States. While the ultimate goal of equity is to ensure that all communities have the resources to thrive, it is not clear how we ensure the success of those efforts. What is wellbeing? And what are the strategies and policies that enable a range of communities in the U.S. to experience wellbeing?

On December 15, 2023, join the Brookings Race, Prosperity, and Inclusion Initiative for a policy-focused conversation on community wellbeing. Our panelists will discuss what wellbeing is, the work they have conducted in a variety of communities on wellbeing, and the strategies and policy approaches that are important to putting diverse communities on the path to wellbeing and equity.
