Today we want to share our new series, "Reopening America and the World." In the first volume, Brookings experts provide a roadmap for U.S. policymakers to reopen the economy and society while protecting public health. You can read the publication below, along with an introductory essay from Brookings President John R. Allen.

To complement the launch of "Reopening America and the World," Brookings will host a virtual event on June 2 at 2:00 PM EDT. The event will begin with keynote remarks from Dr. Jennifer Nuzzo of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and feature an important discussion on U.S. reopening strategies.
