Wednesday, March 1, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. EST
Ending child poverty remains an economic and moral imperative. Policy changes made during the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically reduced child poverty and child food insecurity, but the 2022 poverty and food insecurity statistics are likely to show these gains have been reversed.
On March 1, the Hamilton Project at Brookings will convene leaders and experts to examine the economic impacts of child poverty and propose solutions for helping America's children thrive. The event will feature a fireside chat between U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) and Amna Nawaz of PBS NewsHour.
